Reflexology for Bodyworkers: 8-hour CE

Reflexology has been a trusted healing art since the 1930s when Eunice Ingham pioneered its use in the U.S. This hands-on workshop is your opportunity to explore the rich history and powerful application of reflexology—while learning to care for your clients and protect your own body through intelligent, sustainable body mechanics.

You’ll leave this workshop confident in your ability to locate and work with reflex points and areas that correspond to every gland, organs and part of the body. You’ll gain the skills to apply effective thumb and finger-walking techniques with precision and purpose—whether integrating reflexology into a massage session or using it as a standalone treatment.

This course is designed for practicing bodyworkers ready to expand their skillset and elevate their client results. You’ll learn:

  • When and how to apply reflexology safely and effectively

  • When not to use reflexology (and why)

  • How to improve outcomes by blending reflexology with what you already do

  • How to protect your own hands, thumbs and body with proper mechanics.  Skills that will improve how you massage as well.

By the end of this course, you’ll be confidently using the principles of Zone Therapy and Reflexology to enhance your sessions and offer a whole new level of support to your clients.

Important Note: This is not an anatomy class. All participants must already understand basic human anatomy and organ placement. This is standard in massage training and required for successful participation. Yoga teachers, pedicurists, and other professionals with comparable anatomy training are also welcome.

Led by Natalie Pendergrass, a certified Reflexology Instructor trained by the International Institute of Reflexology.  This training offers an engaging, informative, and unforgettable experience. You’ll laugh, learn, connect, and leave ready to work.
